Reflections

Looking back on my blogs of this semester and then even further back from my blogs from last semester I see a distinct change in style in content. Last semester I was much less "bloggy" and far more structured in my style. This semester I have explored far more of the visual capacity of blogging. My first post was a picture blog with references to the places in venice to the places in The Merchant of Venice. I chose to explore a previous production of measure for measure through some old photos and video. Finally my most recent post returned to a more structured format. Which is explored the language of Falstaff. While I played and explored with the more blog like formats, I really enjoyed having a more in depth exploration of a more traditional blog post. I would like to try to find a way to fuse the more creative flexibility of the blog with a slightly more serious content in the future of my blog posts. Recently I have been on a kick with first folio text, I think I may use future blogposts to explore the differences between the first folio text and the norton anthology.
I love the shakespeare blog. I love reading the wonderful ideas and insights of my classmates!
